Tele finished giggling and rubbed the back of his head with a sigh. “Yes, they sure do! They’re certainly a fun bunch.”
Knight chuckled. “I can see why you like them so much.”
Tele giggled and came closer to Knight, pulling him toward the water. “You’d better get cleaned up, okay?”

Tele giggled and looked up into Knight’s eyes.
The animals around them watched them curiously. Treetop climbed up on Tele’s back, causing him to jump around a little. “Aaah~!! That tickles, heehee!” He dropped the seed into the hole and started trying to get the Bar ba loot off of his back.
Knight laughed and watched the scene for a few moments before plucking Treetop off Tele’s back. He placed the little bear on the ground and gave him a firm but gentle look.
“Well, these little guys certainly don’t lack energy.”
Tele finished giggling and rubbed the back of his head with a sigh. “Yes, they sure do! They’re certainly a fun bunch.”

“I usually just dig a few shovels worth~” Tele smiled and moved over to take a seed out of the little bag.
Knight followed Tele’s instructions and dug a small hole to place the seed in. He then set the shovel aside and crouched next to the hole. Cupping Tele’s hands, he lowered the seed gently into the dirt below.
Tele giggled and looked up into Knight’s eyes.

The Bar Ba Loots eyed him curiously. Tele glanced sideways as he felt their thoughts about Knight. Who is this man? Why is he here with Tele? What is that sharp stick he has? Why does he smell so funny?
“Knight is my friend.” He said quietly. “Actually..” He blushed a bit. “He’s kind of my mate~ He’s going to help me plant trees.”
The little bears continued to watch Knight warily as they neared the river. “There’s a bare spot, there. I’m going to dig a hole for a seed right there~”
After a few moments and a few expectant looks from the barbaloots, Knight approached Tele. “I could dig the hole for you.” He placed the bag of seeds next to the telepath and gripped the shovel he had been carrying. “How deep should I make it?”
“I usually just dig a few shovels worth~” Tele smiled and moved over to take a seed out of the little bag.

telepath-ler:
“O-oh… You didn’t clean up much… Come on, let’s go closer to the river to look for places to plant.” He picked up Treetop and walked in the direction of the water.
“Lead the way.” Knight trailed behind Tele and the barbaloots, looking down at his feet. The few times he looked up he tried not to make eye contact with the small creatures.

Tele smiled and led him outside. A few Bar Ba Loots followed them happily. Tele patted one on the head that tried to cling to his leg. “We’re going to plant some trees, want to come?”
The Bar Ba Loot made a squeaky noise in agreement and let go of his leg. “This is Treetop” He told Knight. “He likes to climb things.”
Knight laughed. “I can see that. He’s already tried to climb your leg.” He crouched down and made a move to pat the small bear on the head, but Treetop backed away. Knight realized that he was still a bit bloody from the whole bear fiasco earlier that day which was probably the source of the barbaloot’s discomfort.

"Let me help you with those." Knight took the bag of seeds and shovel from Tele.
He smiled and headed out the door. “Alright! Let’s go and find a good place to put these.”
While he waited, Knight wondered if the animals of the forest would be as forgiving as Tele.
Tele hurried back over with his back of seeds, shovel and watering can. “Okay, ready!”
"Yeah. That sounds great." He smiled and hugged Tele. "Thank you."
Tele hugged back excitedly. “Okay!! I’ll go and get my truffula seeds, wait right here.”

"Still, he could have been. There has to be something I can do to make up for my crime."
“Well… How about you come and help me plant truffula trees? I’ll introduce you to some bar ba loots!”
"I killed one of your friends?" Knight backed away visibly distressed. "I-I didn't know... I'm so sorry Tele."
Tele quickly took his hands. “It’s okay, Knight. I didn’t know that bear… Don’t worry, please, it’s okay.”
No, Brian, I’m Manlyyyy!!
